About Arbroath Active Travel Network

Arbroath Active Travel Network is a signposted, suggested route using footpaths and roads around the Arbroath area. It is linked to National Cycle Network Route 1 as well as various core paths available around the Arbroath area.

The route has been chosen because of its proximity to good paths, cycle paths and infrastructure and is designed as a tool to help encourage journeys by walking and cycling by the community and visitors to Arbroath.

The project has been facilitated through cooperation and consultation with the local community and Angus Council and funded via Paths for All "Communities Active Travel Grant".
